Return and Refund Policy

The following Return and Refund Policy applies to all consumers who purchase products through the official Saucony online store (or authorized channels providing delivery services to the Slovak market). Please read the following terms carefully before using this service.


I. Scope of Application

1.1 This policy applies to consumers who, after purchasing products on the official Saucony website or its authorized online platforms, need to request a return or refund for any reason.

1.2 Statutory Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with relevant Slovak consumer protection regulations (including Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the *Civil Code*, and Act No. 102/2014 Coll., the *Consumer Protection Act*), consumers have the right to unconditionally withdraw from a purchase contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the products, without the need to provide a reason. This statutory right shall not be limited or diminished by any other terms of this policy.


II. Return Eligibility

2.1 Return Period: You may request a return within 30 days from the date of receipt of the products. This 30-day return period extends beyond the 14-day statutory withdrawal period required by law, providing you with ample time to make a decision.

>Special Holiday Notice: For purchases made during the holiday promotional period (typically November 1st to December 31st), the return period may be extended until the end of January of the following year.

2.2 Product Condition: Products requested for return must meet the following requirements:
- Must not have been worn, used, or washed;
- Must be free of damage, stains, or odors;
- Must retain all original packaging (including the original shoe box or garment bag), as well as all tags and accessories;
- The product must be in perfect, resalable condition.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items: The following products are not eligible for return under this policy:
- Footwear that has actually been worn or used outdoors;
- Products exhibiting wear and tear, damage, or deformation caused by reasons other than manufacturing defects;
- Products missing their original shoe box, tags, or accessories;
- Clearance or special-offer items that are explicitly marked as "Non-Returnable." 2.4 Handling of Diminished Value: If returned items suffer a significant loss in value due to improper handling on your part (e.g., improper try-on or poor packaging), Saucony reserves the right to deduct a reasonable fee for such diminished value from your refund amount.


III. Return Process

3.1 Submit a Return Request Online

- Visit the "Returns" page on the official Saucony website;
- Enter your Order Number and the postal code associated with your billing address (account login may be required for certain regions);
- Select the items you wish to return and specify the reason for the return;
- Submit your return request.

3.2 Select a Return Method

Once your request has been approved, you may choose one of the following methods to return your items:

- Method 1 (Recommended): Download and print a return label; properly package the items and affix the label to the package;
- Method 2: Select "Print-Free Return" to obtain a QR Code, then scan the code at a designated carrier drop-off point to complete the return.

3.3 Packaging Requirements

- Place the items inside the original shipping packaging or a suitable shipping box;
- Ensure that the original shoe box remains intact and undamaged, and place it inside the outer shipping package;
- Please do not affix the return label directly onto the original shoe box.

3.4 Return the Items

- Drop off the packaged items at a designated return carrier drop-off point (e.g., UPS or a local partner courier service);
- Please be sure to retain your proof of shipment (receipt) for future reference should you need to track the status of your return.

3.5 Return Shipping Costs

- Returns within Slovakia: Saucony offers free return services to consumers within Slovakia (via designated partner carriers);
- **Responsibility for Return Costs**: If you choose not to utilize the free return label provided by Saucony, you shall be solely responsible for covering any additional costs incurred.

> In accordance with Slovak consumer protection laws, when exercising their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, consumers who choose not to utilize the free return method provided by the seller are required to bear the direct costs of returning the items themselves. ## IV. Refund Processing

### 4.1 Review Time

Once your return package is received, Saucony typically requires **up to 14 business days** to complete the product inspection and refund processing.

### 4.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method—for example, if you paid using a credit card, the refund will be credited back to that same credit card account.

### 4.3 Refund Crediting Time

Once we have confirmed the refund, you will receive an automated email notification. Depending on your card-issuing bank or payment service provider, it may take an additional **2–10 business days** for the refund amount to appear in your account.

### 4.4 Cases of Partial Refunds

In the following instances, Saucony reserves the right to issue only a partial refund or to deduct an appropriate amount from the refund:
- The returned item is incomplete (missing accessories or tags);
- The value of the returned item has diminished due to wear during fitting or improper packaging.

### 4.5 Failed Refunds

If a refund fails due to reasons such as incorrect account information provided by you or the expiration of the original payment method, Saucony will contact you via email to arrange an alternative refund method.


## V. Exchange Processing

5.1 If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color—without going through the process of returning the item and placing a new order—you may select the "Exchange" option on the return request page. We will arrange for the shipment of your exchange item once we have received and verified that the returned item meets the eligibility criteria.

5.2 **Important Note:** Due to the dynamic nature of inventory levels, to ensure the highest success rate for your exchange, we recommend that you simply request a return for the original item and then place a new order for the specific style and size you desire.


## VI. Items with Quality Issues

6.1 If the item you received contains manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or other quality flaws, please contact the Saucony Customer Service Team within **7 days** of receiving the item (contact details can be found in Section XIV). Please provide your order number, photographs of the defect, and a detailed description of the issue. 6.2 If a product is confirmed to have a quality defect, we will provide you with **free return shipping** and, depending on the circumstances, offer the following solutions (at your discretion):
- **Full refund** (issued via the original payment method);
- **Exchange** (for the same style and size);
- **Repair** (if applicable and feasible).

6.3 In accordance with Slovak consumer protection regulations, for defective goods, you have the right to request an exchange, free repair, or—if repair or exchange is not feasible—a full refund. Saucony will process such requests in compliance with statutory requirements.


## VII. User Responsibilities

7.1 **Return Shipping Risks**: Ownership of and risk associated with returned items remain with you until the items are received at the Saucony warehouse. We recommend using a trackable shipping service when returning items and purchasing adequate shipping insurance to protect against potential loss or damage during transit.

7.2 **Accuracy of Address Information**: You shall bear full responsibility for any failed deliveries or lost packages—as well as any resulting re-delivery costs or losses—caused by inaccurate or incomplete delivery address information provided by you.


## VIII. Non-Returnable Items (Exceptions)

In accordance with Slovak consumer protection regulations, the statutory right of withdrawal (return without cause) does not apply to the following items:

- Items that have been customized to your personal specifications or personalized according to your choices;
- Items that are unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons and whose sealed packaging has been opened (e.g., socks, compression sportswear/underwear, etc.);
- Sealed audio/video recordings or software where the sealed packaging has been opened.

> Provided they remain unworn and in pristine condition, Saucony footwear products are subject to the 30-day return policy mentioned above and are exempt from the restrictions outlined in this section.


## IX. Dispute Resolution and Supervisory Authority
